Hamid Ahmadi

Hamid Ahmadi is Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Middle East Strategic Studies. He is also professor of political science in Tehran University. Dr. Ahmadi's research interests include politics and government in the Middle East, Iranian foreign policy, political sociology of contemporary Iran, and contemporary Islamic fundamentalist movements.

He has published many articles and books in English and in Farsi and participated in numerous international conferences. His latest publications include, "India and Iran: an Assessment of Contemporary Relations" Delhi: New Century Publications (2011); "Islam and Nationalism in Contemporary Iranian Society and Politics", Iranian Review of Foreign Affairs (Spring 2010); "Islamic Movements in International Politics", Imam Sadegh University Publications (2011).
