Ms. Manuela Paraypan is journalist, analyst and authored articles, reports and policy studies on human rights in Lebanon, Middle East politics, Islamic movements, global governance and economic advancement in underdeveloped countries. She also met, worked with, and interviewed, a very diverse group of individuals, from state presidents, to prime ministers, ministers, diplomats, members of parliament, to military (and militant), tribal and religious leaders, refugees and others. Ms. Paraypan was Former media fellow and contributing editor to World Security Network Foundation and Director Executive – The Middle East Political and Economic Institute October 2009 – 8th April 2011.She has Published by The Daily Star, open Democracy (oD), World Press, WSN, The Washington Times, UPI, Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Yemen Times, BI-ME (Business Intelligence Middle East), Los Angeles Times, Atlantic Community, Foreign Policy, Maan News Agency and other publications.
Dr. Kayhan Barzegar is Director of the Institute for Middle East Strategic Studies in Tehran. He is also a faculty member and the Chair of the Department of Political Science and international Relations at the Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch in Tehran. He has widely published in English and Persian and participated in numerous international conferences on the Middle East issues, Iran-US relations, and politics of Iran's nuclear program. His latest publications are: "The US war on Terror after Bin Ladan", Harvard University (May 2011); "Balance of Power in the Persian Gulf", Middle East Policy (Fall 2010); "Tit-for-tat diplomacy", Bulletin of Atomic Scientists (November- December 2010).
